Our History . . .

The founding of MOSES in 2008 was led by Johnnie E. Richardson Jr., Pastor of the Macedonia  Missionary Baptist Church. He  recognized that many people living within the immediate vicinity of the church had needs beyond the scope and ministry of the Church.

With the support of the church membership, MOSES was organized as a Community  Development Corporation. It’s  mission is “to  effect positive change in the lives of those individuals who have or are experiencing a disparity in their quality of life due to economic, personal, physical, or social conditions.”  MOSES received initial funding from the church and  obtained permanent 501(c)3 status as a public charity effective May 15, 2010.
